Debt Collector Victims Of Persecution In Kalibata Who Had Survived, Died At Budi Asih Hospital
JAKARTA The number of victims who died during the persecution in Kalibata that occurred in Kalibata, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta became two people. Both are debt collectors or eagle eyes (matel) who received severe persecution by an unknown group of people.
The second victim was found dead after undergoing treatment at Budi Asih Hospital, Cawang.
The news was confirmed by the East Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Nicolas Ary Lilipaly.
"Yes (died)," he said when confirmed by the media, Friday, December 12, 2025.
It was later discovered that the two victims of the beating had the initials MET and NAT being rushed to the hospital, but one of them had died earlier at the crime scene (TKP).

Previously, two men suspected of being the Eyes of the Eagle (Matel) were victims of a beating by an unknown person (OTK) in the Kalibata area, South Jakarta, Thursday 11 December 2025. One person is reported to have died.
The Pancoran police chief, Kompol Mansur, explained that the incident began when the two Matel stopped a motorcyclist passing across from TMP Kalibata. During the process of stopping, a car arrived. The driver of the car suddenly got down and immediately ganged up on the two victims.
After the incident, an unknown group of people destroyed and burned in front of the Kalibata TMP.
The police confirmed that they would look for the perpetrators of the beating.
