Komdigi Sued To The Upper Court For Arrears In Server Protection From Judol And Pornography Sites
PT SUFI sued the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs (Komdigi) to the Central Jakarta District Court. This lawsuit was filed by PT SUFI because it is suspected that Komdigi has not paid the remaining arrears for the completion of the remaining claims for network control projects and server systems for electronic system administrators.
The total bill reached Rp. 78 billion. However, Komdigi has only paid Rp. 21 billion.
"So there is still a remaining debt that has not been paid of around Rp 57 billion. This is the period from March 2024 to December 2024," said PT SUFI attorney Muhammad Rullyandi at the Central Jakarta District Court, Wednesday (10/12).
Rullyandi said that the maintenance of the server that had been completed by PT SUFI was very important because it was useful for preventing online gambling sites, pornography, hoax content to other negative content.
"We actually really really help the Asta Cita (President Prabowo Subianto) program to eradicate gambling," he said.
This project has been completed and beneficial for the state. However, the Komdigi, led by Meutya Hafid, did not even want to pay the rest of the bill because it was reasoned that the existing arrears were not re-udited by BPKP.
They argue they cannot continue. Of course that reason is unacceptable.

"Later, the government will deliberately not have to pay bills through the year. Even though this is actually a legal obligation that must be fulfilled," he said.
He saw that PT SUFI was experiencing difficulties and was constrained in carrying out their operations due to the unpaid honorarium from the government.
"Of course there are operations that are hampered," he said.
The government should give its appreciation to private companies that want to help the main state program.
"It should be appreciated. However, we deeply regret that Komdigi has not paid the remaining Rp 57 billion bills," he said.
Rullyandi also hopes that Komdigi can complete the payment obligations of the remaining honorariums of the IT company.
"We only ask for payment. PT SUFI also opens space for peace and mediation to find the best solution. We leave it to the Panel of Judges," he said.
Meanwhile, the Komdigi who attended the trial were reluctant to give a response. The process is now rolling into the realm of mediation to find the best solution from both parties.
