The Boss Of Terra Drone Indonesia Is Charged With Layered Articles In The Aftermath Of The Death Of 22 Employees

The Central Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) ensnared the President Director of PT Terra Drone Indonesia with layered articles related to the deadly fire incident that killed 22 of its employees.

"MW was charged with Articles 187,188 and 359 of the Criminal Code for his actions," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Central Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Roby Hery Saputra to VOI, Thursday, December 11.

Kasat further explained that the determination of the suspect and the entanglement of 3 articles against MW were the result of an in-depth investigation regarding the deaths of 22 Terra Drone employees during the fire.

"From the crime scene, there were no victims who burned their bodies, because of smoke or hot steam. The shape of this building is like a ceiling if we look at it. If it's burned down, it's like roasting. So it's like that," he explained.

Suspect MW was charged with multiple articles, namely Articles 187, 188 and 359 of the Criminal Code for his actions.

"The article is related to intent, or negligence causing fires and other disasters that cause people to die. The threat is from 5 to 12 years in prison," he said.
