Minister Of Home Affairs Says 22 Terra Drone Employees Died Due To Inhaling Toxic Substances
JAKARTA - Minister of Home Affairs (Mendagri) Tito Karnavian visited the scene of the fire at the Terra Drone Indonesia building in Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, December 10, afternoon.
From the results of direct checks, Tito Karnavian has not been able to determine the cause of the fire that occurred in the Terra Drone building.
"If it is suspected that there was a fire on the 1st floor, we don't know whether it was from a battery drone or from other activities. What is clear is that during lunch, the employees were a total of 76-80 people," Tito said at the location of the fire.
Tito said that at the time of the incident some employees were taking lunch breaks. While there are around 41 employees left.

Tito emphasized that as a result of the fire incident, 22 people were declared dead.
"So 22 people died. The 22 people died from smoke, maybe carbon monoxide or other toxic substances. Then 19 were successfully evacuated," he said.
