BSI Ensures That The Issue Of Disbursement Of Grant Funds Of IDR 10 Trillion Is A Hoax
JAKARTA - Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) revealed that information on the disbursement of government grants worth Rp. 10 trillion in exchange for Rp. 10 million to Rp. 15 million per person is not true. The hoax news triggered the arrival of hundreds of residents to the BSI office, Alam Sutra Tower, Gatot Subroto, South Jakarta, Monday, December 8, 2025, yesterday.
BSI Corporate Secretary, Wisnu Sunandar said, people who came because of an invitation from certain parties claiming the government placed more than Rp10 trillion in Budget Balance (SAL) funds in BSI to be distributed to residents
"People who come because of an invitation to get funds per person are still 10 million rupiah as government assistance," he said at the BSI office, Alam Sutra by Tower, Gatot Subroto, South Jakarta, Tuesday, December 9, 2025.
Wisnu said the residents were asked to pay a stamp fee of Rp. 15 thousand to Rp. 200 thousand to a personal account in the name of Nurul Ali Insani. The invitation, said Wisnu, was accompanied by a letter from a group calling itself the Golden Eagle International UNBP.
They instructed BSI to disburse 10% of the IDR 200 trillion to a number of accounts, including accounts in the name of Rosadi at Bank Mandiri and Yunarto Logo Anwar at BSI.
Wisnu emphasized that the SAL funds belonged to the Indonesian government which was placed in a government bank for financing in accordance with the provisions of the Minister of Finance. According to him, the funds cannot be disbursed to the public and are not social assistance.
"There is no disbursement of SAL funds to residents' accounts. The funds are government-owned deposits that are channeled in the form of financing according to the provisions," he said.
Wisnu revealed that the Golden Eagle organization had been declared not to have legality by the OJK DEFINITE Task Force.
The institution previously offered debt and investment elimination programs that were claimed to use certain legal grounds, but could not show legality or valid operational permits.
It can be concluded that the purchase scheme offered has proven to have no official legality basis and has the potential to mislead the public. So this institution has also been clarified by the OJK, that its activities are illegal," he said.
