The Death Toll At The Terra Drone Kemayoran Building Reaches 17 People

The Head of the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of DKI Jakarta Province, Isnawa Adji, confirmed that the number of employees who died in the fire incident in the Terra Drone reached 17 people.

"There were 17 patients who died, they have been taken to the Police Hospital. The details are 13 women and 4 men," Isnawa Adji told VOI, Tuesday, December 9.

Isnawa said the fire had occurred since 12.43 WIB on Tuesday afternoon. The object affected by the fire was the Terra Drone Building.

"The handling was carried out by 28 units of Disgulkarmat along with elements of P2B BPBD, PMI, AGD Health Office, Transportation Agency, Satpol PP, PLN, PSKB/Tagana Social Service, Sector Police, and Koramil. The cause of the fire is still being collected," he said.

Previously, it was reported that Central Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. officers continued to evacuate the bodies of fire victims at Terra Drone Jalan Letjen Suprapto, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, who were burned to the ground, Tuesday, December 9, afternoon.

From VOI's observation, one by one the body bags continued to be transported by firefighters from inside the burning building area.

"Many (victims died). Not finished yet," Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Central Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Roby Heri Saputra when confirmed by VOI, Tuesday, December 9.
