Police Name Ayu Puspita As Suspect In Wedding Organizer Fraud Case
JAKARTA - Ayu Puspita, owner of the wedding organizer (WO) who was reported on suspicion of fraud, became a suspect.
The Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Bhudi Hermanto, said Ayu Puspita and Dimas Haryo Puspo had been detained at the North Jakarta Police (Jakut). The two suspects were charged with Article 372 and Article 378 of the Criminal Code.
"It is true that suspects A and D were detained in Jakut," said Bhudi when confirmed by the media, Tuesday, December 9, 2025.
Separately, three other people Hendra Everyanto, Budi Daya Putra and Reifa Rostyalina are also involved in the case, currently being handled by Polda Metro Jaya. The police will immediately conduct a case title to determine the next step.
"And the other three were held at the Polda Metro Jaya Wasidik. Because of the other 3 people, the TKP is outside Jakut (North Jakarta)," said Budi.
In line with this, the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the North Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Onkoseno, emphasized that Ayu is now officially detained at the North Jakarta Metro Police.
"For those Ayu is already a suspect and we are currently detained at the Resort Police," he said.

Onkoseno explained that the investigation process is still ongoing. The four reported people are still being investigated. The police also continued to examine the victims who had previously reported.
"The others are still under investigation, including still examining the victims who reported complaints to us yesterday," he said.
Previously, data at the North Jakarta Metro Police recorded that 87 people had reported it. They admitted that they were deceived after paying full wedding fees, but on D day, WO services did not appear or did not comply with the agreement.
The earliest report was received on Saturday, December 6, 2025, one of which was made by the victim with the initials SOG.
In its report, SOG wants to hold a wedding using PT Ayu Puspita Sejahtera's "Wedding Organizer" (WO) and has paid the reception fee of Rp 82,740,000 to an agreed account.
However, when the reception took place, the WO did not prepare the facilities according to the agreement between the two parties.
"They also have no good faith to solve the problem," he said
After the examination, it turned out that there were quite a lot of victims from the WO fraud of this marriage and so far 87 people have made reports at the Jakarta Metro Police.
