South Jakarta Metro Police Chief Make Sure There Is No Disbursement Of Funds At BSI Gatot Subroto: 'Mr. Is Lied'
South Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Nicolas Ary Lilipaly, firmly denied the disbursement of funds at Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) as claimed by the action participants who gathered in the Alam Sutra Tower area, Gatot Subroto, on Monday 8 December 2025.
Nicolas confirmed that the information regarding the disbursement of the funds was a hoax.
"It's useless for you to come here. I emphasize, there is no disbursement of funds. It's a hoax, it's a lie. Those who say there was disbursement of funds today, it's a lie," said Nicolas.
He said that the police together with BSI management had previously communicated with mass representatives. As a result, there is no agenda for disbursement of any funds related to the information circulating.
"There is no longer communication between the demonstrators and BSI because it has been done, and indeed there is no disbursement of funds," he continued.

Previously, Alam Sutra Tower, which is located on Jalan Gatot Subroto, South Jakarta, suddenly a commotion by a mob that claimed to be from various regions, Monday, December 8. Information obtained at the location, the masses demanded Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) to immediately disburse the promised funds.
Until noon, the masses were still standing in front of the building while waiting for an official response from Bank BSI. However, until this news was revealed, no official statement had been conveyed by the bank regarding the demands.
The mass coordinator, Santoyo, referred to as the resident's Parental Guidance (PG), explained that their arrival was part of an effort to accelerate the disbursement of funds.
"As a society, we are representatives of the owner of funds, the owner of the system, and the owner of global assets. What we know is that these funds were disbursed by the government. There are five "ambera" fund distributions. For today, we have come so that the funds are disbursed first," said Santoyo to VOI at the location, Monday, December 8, 2025.
He emphasized that their demands were addressed directly to Bank BSI to immediately disburse funds which were said to be IDR 10 trillion, as stated in the instructions brought by residents, including:
-Fee for Fund Owners, System Owners, and Global Asset Owners.
- Grants to the Government of the Republic of Indonesia.
-A grant to Bank Syariah Indonesia.
-Investment to Beneficiaries.
Santoyo also said that the beneficiaries were residents who were present in the action. He questioned the reasons why the funds claimed to have been prepared by the government had not yet been accessed.
"The government has issued a budget. Why can't we take advantage of it? Until now there has been no disbursement," he added.
