Prabowo's Second Time To Aceh, Check Disaster Management And Affected Locations
JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto left for Aceh Province on Sunday, December 7, 2025 to directly observe the handling of natural disasters that hit a number of areas on rencong land. This Kungjungan is the second time.
In an official situation received by VOI, Sunday, December 7, 2025, Prabowo was furious from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, Jakarta. The President took off for Sultan Iskandar Muda International Airport, Aceh Besar District, at around 07.55 WIB.
Upon arrival in Aceh, the Head of State is scheduled to review points that have been damaged and have a significant impact due to flooding, as well as receive the latest reports from local governments and related agencies. This visit was carried out as part of the efforts of the Head of State to ensure the acceleration of emergency handling and recovery in affected areas.
President Prabowo will also monitor the distribution of aid, the evacuation process of residents, and steps to open road access. The government emphasizes that flood management in Aceh is a national priority and all resources are deployed to accelerate the recovery of community conditions.
Previously, on Friday, December 5, 2025, the Head of State said that the disasters that occurred in a number of areas were suffering and challenges that were shared as a nation. The President emphasized that in the midst of trials and various disasters that hit, Indonesia still shows determination as a large and strong country, with the ability to survive, rise, and overcome every test that is faced together.

Also accompanying the President on the flight to the disaster-affected areas were Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sugiono, Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, and Head of the Government Communications Agency Angga Raka Prabowo.
