Debt Collector Pulls Daihatsu Xenia In Johar Baru, Even Though Arrears Are Paid Off
Six debt collectors forcibly pulled the Daihatsu Xenia car numbered B 1557 UIW belonging to the victim on Jalan Kramat Jaya Baru I, Johar Baru, Central Jakarta.
The victim then reported the incident through the Police call center service 110. After receiving the report, members of the Central Jakarta Metro Police immediately followed up by visiting the location.
"We will follow up every public complaint through 110 quickly. There should be no forced withdrawal of vehicles and in disturbing ways," said Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Susatyo Purnomo Condro when confirmed, Thursday, December 4.
The police chief appealed that people who were victims of crimes and threats could immediately report 110 so that officers could provide protection.
"In the report of the reporter with the initials AP, the perpetrators of several debt collectors tried to take his car and did not allow him to leave the location," he said.

After Johar Baru Police officers arrived at the scene, in just eight minutes, the police found the disturbing debt collector group.
The debt collector group is known to be led by a man with the initials RTM from a finance company.
For further processing, the debt collectors were taken to the Johar Baru Police with car owners.
Meanwhile, the results of the examination showed that the vehicle owner had paid off his obligations on November 4, 2025 at the BFI Finance leasing office.
Vehicles remain valid to the owner, reinforced by a statement and mutual agreement between creditors, leasing, and debt collector advisors.
"If there is an element of coercion, we will take firm action according to the law," he said.
