General Listyo Sigit Prabowo Officially Inaugurated As Chairman Of The KSPSI Advisory Board

JAKARTA - National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo conveyed a special message to members of the Confederation of All Indonesian Workers Unions (KSPSI) to continue to show maturity and exemplary in expressing their aspirations.

General Listyo Sigit conveyed this after he was officially appointed as Chairman of the KSPSI Advisory Board at Istora Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday, December 3, 2025.

Sigit in his speech said that workers have room to fight for aspirations, but still have to maintain order.

"I, as the National Police Chief and as the Chair of the Advisory Board, of course, continue to invite KSPSI to show maturity in democracy, and exemplary in conveying aspirations in an orderly, peaceful, and responsible manner," he said.

Sigit also left a message that the labor movement must continue to be constructive, even in the future if he no longer serves as the National Police Chief.

"Unless he is no longer the National Police Chief. Yes, he will remain the National Police Chief or later after no, if Mr. Listyo Sigit is still the Chair of the Advisory Board, the labor movement will continue to run in an orderly and constructive manner. Agree?" he said

"Agreed," replied the KSPSI member present.

Sigit said workers are an important pillar of the national economy and need to be maintained so that their welfare increases.

"The point is that the investment climate must be maintained. Workers can still express their aspirations, but of course in the corridor to maintain order. Otherwise, pity the Chief of Police," he said.

In the 2025 KSPSI Rapimnas forum, he also expressed his willingness to accept the appointment as Chairman of the Advisory Board.

"Therefore, today I agree, on this stage, in front of my colleagues, to become the Chair of the KSPSI Advisory Board," he concluded.
