Dozens Of Parking Motorbikes On The Shoulder Of The Road Were Revoked By The Pentils Of Joint Officers In Penjaringan

JAKARTA - At least 20 two-wheeled vehicles are parked on Pluit Permai Street and Pluit Selatan Raya Street, Penjaringan, North Jakarta by the North Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept. on Wednesday, December 3, 2025.

In addition to the 20 two-wheeled vehicles carried out by OCP, North Jakarta Sub-dept. officers also towed 3 cars and netted 9 motorbikes.

Head of the Operational Control Section of LLAJ North Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept., Yulza, said that controlling motorbikes and cars was a follow-up to public complaints regarding the rise of illegal parking in the Pluit area, Penjaringan.

"The control of illegal parking is carried out together with elements of the TNI, Polri, Lintas Jaya and Kasatpelhub, Penjaringan District," said Yulza.

Three cars were carried out by the assistant for violating the rules by parking on the shoulder and body along Jalan Pluit Permai.

Yulza hopes that the violators will be deterred and comply with traffic regulations.

"We ask the public and business actors to obey the existing rules. It is not permissible to park their vehicles on the shoulder or body of the road because it can harm other road users," he said.

With this control, citizens and business actors can be wiser to understand an existing rule to park their vehicle.

"With us parked carelessly, there will be losses that will be borne by other road users. Parking on the shoulder of the road can reduce road capacity, causing traffic jams," he said.
