Bareskrim Polri Forms A Team To Reveal Gelondongan Wood Sources Carried By Floods In Sumatra
The Directorate of Certain Crimes (Dittipidter) of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police is forming a team to investigate the emergence of logs that were dragged along in the flash floods and landslides in Sumatra, at the end of November 2025.
Dirtipidter Bareskrim Polri Brigadier General M Irhamni said the formation of a team to reveal where the logs came from.
This is because the logs are in the public spotlight because they are suspected of being related to illegal logging practices in affected areas.
"An investigation team is being formed," Brigadier General M Irhamni told the media, Tuesday, December 2, 2025.

Previously reported, the Directorate of Certain Crimes (Dittipidter) of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police is investigating the findings of logs that were carried away by flash floods in North Sumatra and West Sumatra.
