Viral MMA Athletes Withdrawn To Fall By Debt Collector At Pasar Minggu, Police Wait For Report

Circulating on social media (medsos) acts of violence against a suspected boxing and MMA athlete who was having lunch while creating culinary content on Holticulture Street, Ragunan, South Jakarta, was visited by several men with strong and tattooed posture.

The men immediately pulled their clothes from behind to collect debts. Shocked because they did not know the case, the athlete had time to put up a fight.

The incident caught the attention of residents who were active around the location. After a brief commotion occurred, the four men suspected of being debt collectors immediately left the place screaming.

When confirmed, the Head of Pasar Minggu Police, Commissioner Anggiat Sinambela, confirmed the viral video on Instagram. However, he confirmed that there had been no police report regarding the alleged violence.

"It's in IG, there's no report yet," he said when confirmed by VOI, Monday, December 1, 2025.

Anggiat emphasized that he would only investigate the incident, while waiting for a report to be made to the police

"It's certain (tracing), while waiting for the injured," he concluded.

The video reaped various comments from many netizens. There are even several accounts that say the scene is seting, such as drama.

However, it is not certain whether the incident was purely violent or just filming content. The police are still waiting for a report from the victim.
