Teenage Boys Reported Missing By Family And Girlfriend, Found In Mess Candidates ABK

JAKARTA - A young man with the initials MRA (21) was reported missing from his house without news to his family.

The incident caused a stir because the victim's family reported the incident to the Pademangan Police.

The report was submitted by the victim's parents named Ardi (45), a resident of Karawang. The report was made on Tuesday, November 25.

According to Ardi, his son with the initials MRA left the house without giving news to his family. This condition made the family panic, until his girlfriend uploaded information about the loss via Instagram social media.

The upload was then responded to by a friend of the victim who claimed to be with MRA at a mess in the Penjaringan area, North Jakarta, and shared the latest location (live location).

Receiving the report, the Head of the Pademangan Police, Kompol Immanuel Sinaga, ordered the Criminal Investigation Unit and the Opsnal team to conduct a search.

Armed with the location received, the team moved to the address and found MRA along with three other colleagues.

The results of the interrogation at the location, it turned out that MRA was not missing, but was waiting for the departure schedule to work as a crew member (ABK) for domestic fishing vessels.

During his stay in the mess, MRA's daily needs were borne by the distribution.

"This case is a misunderstanding due to the victim not giving news to the family. The police confirmed that there was no criminal act in the incident," said Kompol Immanuel Sinaga, Thursday, November 27, 2025.

Quick handling is carried out as a form of the Police's response to every public report.

"The certainty of the safety of victims is a priority," he said.
