Polda Metro Jaya Will Check The Man Who Claims To Be The Son Of A Member Of Propam Polda

Polda Metro Jaya will summon a man with the initials MAF who claims to be the son of a member of the Propam Polda Metro Jaya when his car is about to be pulled by debt collector.

"Currently, officers are still investigating, to ask for information from MAF's brother because he is in Jogjakarta," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Budi Hermanto, Sunday, November 23, 2025.

The summons is for an examination related to the MAF statement claiming to be a child of the Propam Polda Metro Jaya.

"We will question the intent and purpose of conveying. The statement from the account we received circulated in the community," he said.

However, Kombes Budi ensured that the MAF was not the son of a member of the National Police as circulated went viral.

"It is not true that MAF's brother or his parents are members of the Propam Polda Metro Jaya," he said.

In addition, MAF's confession that his car was confiscated by the Sector Police, the Head of District also denied it.

"We will straighten it out. One unit of the vehicle is the result of taking over credit. So it is not evidence in the legal process at Polda Metro Jaya," he said.

Meanwhile, from MAF's confession through video recordings circulating, he was forced to admit to being a child of a member of the National Police because he felt threatened by debt collectors.

"I was forced to do this because I was under pressure and intimidation from the debt collector. I apologize to the National Police for defaming the good name of the Police," he said.
