Perumda Pasar Jaya Clarifies The Chaos Of Scout Market Traders

Perumda Pasar Jaya stated that his party had revitalized the Scout Market because the right to use the market business premises had expired since May 2024.

However, until now, traders are still using their place of business actively without being subject to the price of extending the right to use their place of business which is an obligation to Perumda Pasar Jaya, as stipulated in Regional Regulation Number 7 of 2018 concerning Management and Development of Regional Public Companies Pasar Jaya.

Head of the Regional Market Operations Division II Perumda Pasar Jaya, Yohanes Daramonsidi said, Perumda Pasar Jaya sealed 20 stalls at Pramuka Market, East Jakarta because they had not fulfilled their payment obligations.

"This is specifically for traders who are contractors," said Yohanes, Thursday, November 13.

Yohannes said the total number of registered traders was 401 traders. 102 traders have paid for kiosk ownership for the next 20 years.

Furthermore, Perumda Pasar Jaya has followed up on all aspirations and inputs submitted through various parties, including several factions of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Commission B, Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Kemenko Polhukam), and the Indonesian Ombudsman.

Perumda Pasar Jaya has also held discussions with scout market traders on October 14, 2025. Perumda Pasar Jaya has sent a letter to the Scout Market Pharmacy Traders Association (HPFPP) on October 20, 2025 regarding the Submission of the Final Price of Expenditure Rights Extension (PHP) for Scout Market Business Places.

Perumda Pasar Jaya has adjusted the price for the extension of the right to use business premises to maintain a balance between the sustainability of traders' businesses and the sustainability of economic healthy market management.

The price adjustment, stated, has paid attention to and considered the results of the Public Appraisal Service Office (KJPP) that have been carried out previously to ensure that the rental rate is set objectively, professionally, and in accordance with market price reasonable standards and is a follow-up to the recommendations of the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia.

The results of the study became the basis for determining the price for the extension of the right to use business premises, even Pasar Jaya provided relief by setting the price for the extension of the right to use business premises below the recommended value by KJPP.
