Prabowo Scheduled To Australia This Week, Meet PM Albanese To Strengthen Bilateral
JAKARTA - Minister of State Secretary (Mensesneg) Prasetyo Hadi said President Prabowo Subianto is scheduled to leave for Australia this week.
Prabowo's plan to go to Australia is to make a bilateral visit with Prime Minister (PM) Anthony Albanese.
"God willing," said Prasetyo at the Presidential Palace Complex, Jakarta, Monday, was confiscated by Antara.
Prasetyo explained that the state visit was carried out in order to foster and strengthen bilateral relations between Indonesia and Australia.
"In order to foster bilateral relations," he said.
It is known that PM Albanese previously visited Indonesia on May 14-16 to hold a bilateral meeting with President Prabowo.
PM Albanese chose Indonesia as the first country on his official visit, after being re-elected as head of the country's government through the Australian Parliamentary Election.
Before going to Australia, President Prabowo had completed the agenda in Gyeongju, South Korea, on October 30, November 1, to attend the APEC 2025 Summit and several bilateral meetings.
Prabowo also attended the ASEAN 47th Summit series in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on October 26.
