4 Dark Travel Cars From Java Secured During Backflow In Bali
BADUNG - Head of the Bandung Police Traffic Unit, AKP Aan Saputra, said the backflow of passengers entering Terminal Type A Mengwi Badung Regency, Bali began to be crowded.
"The backflow is temporary, maybe the next four days are a bit crowded", said Saputra, when contacted Thursday, May 20.
According to him, there are no vehicles turned around in the Badung area. If there is a vehicle carrying passengers who do not have a free letter COVID-19, it will help rapid test in Mengwi Terminal.
"While I see from the morning until now there are 16 buses (from Bali) to Java", he added.
Police are currently securing a backflow from Java entering Badung, Bali. Since May 18, there have been 45 buses arriving at the Mengwi terminal.
"Who came to Bali from the 18th to today from Java came to Bali we count already 45 buses. They're migrants", he explained.
The passengers entering Bali are by the applicable conditions. Among them are checked rapid tests in Gilimanuk Port including when entering Badung.
"If for example there are (not) qualified and not in rapid tests we help prepare rapid tests in Terminal Mengwi in collaboration with the Health Office", he said.
"If anyone is reactive, we will coordinate with the doctor because there (Terminal Mengwi) there is already an ambulance down to the Ship Hospital and quarantined", he continued.
He predicts that the peak homecoming backflow will occur in the next 4 days, namely Sunday, May 23. "Today until Sunday it will be congested", he said.
In addition, police on Tuesday, May 18 secured 4 illicit travel cars carrying passengers into Bali.
"There is four dark travel that we secure, we have cooperated with the Transportation Department and The Head of Terminal", he said.

"There is no transport permit and the Transportation handles it, we help with the inspection only. (They) don't qualify for the rapid test", he said.
Meanwhile, passengers on dark travel are dropped off at Mengwi Terminal for rapid tests. The result is negative of COVID-19.
"We secure the dark travel. All passengers have finished the rapid negative test and the terminal has prepared a small Damri bus to take them to their respective residences in Bali", said Saputra.
