Get Ready, Fans Can Now Contribute In Celebrating 20 Years Of The Harry Potter Movie

JAKARTA - Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, the first film adaptation of J.K. Rowling's series, was first released in November 2001. To celebrate its 20th anniversary, WarnerMedia made special preparations. They will be holding a quiz for Harry Potter fans.

Harry Potter fans can check their knowledge of books and films about the young witch in a televised quiz show created by WarnerMedia and aired this year as part of the 20th anniversary of the first film of the witch student's adventures at Hogwarts.

As reported by Reuters via ANTARA, WarnerMedia said the case was open to fans who wanted to take part in the hour-long quiz.

The quiz show will be part of five special nights featuring special guest stars, one of which is a "play together" component where Harry Potter fans can have fun dressing up as the fictional story character at home. The special will air on HBO Max, Cartoon Network, and TBS this year.

Successful with the first film, Harry Potter continued to be seven titles according to the novel. However, the seventh film, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows was divided into two parts, resulting in eight films worked on.

Eight Harry Potter films became one of the world's largest film franchises, grossing an estimated USD 7.7 billion at the global box office, cited from Reuters, Monday, May 17.
