BGN Affirms SPPG Prohibited From Cooking MBG Before 12 Pm

Deputy Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), Nanik S. Deyang emphasized that there is no Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) that can cook the Free Nutrition Food (MBG) menu before 12 pm.

Nanik revealed that the regulation will be part of the Presidential Regulation (Perpres) on the Governance of the MBG which will be ratified in the near future.

"If there is (SPPG) who cooks at 10 pm, that is the wrong thing," said Nanik as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, October 23.

Nanik said that the workforce in the SPPG has been arranged in such a way as to be divided into three shifts.

He explained the first shift, namely the workers in charge of cooking food, which started around 12 pm-1 in the morning.

Furthermore, the second shift, starting at around 6 am to carry out packaging, as well as the latest shift at 4 pm to carry out washing and preparation tomorrow.

"That's why there (one SPPG) there are 47 employees," said Nanik.

If later the new Presidential Decree has been implemented, said Nanik, SPPGs that do not follow the rules can be closed.

"Now 112 kitchens (SPPG) have been closed. They are allowed to operate again, but on the record of making contracts or making agreements, if experiencing it again it will be permanently closed. So, we are also tough with partners," said Nanik.
