The Number Of Productive RI Age Is High, Coordinating Minister AHY Encourages Improvement Of The Education Sector
JAKARTA - Coordinating Minister for Regional Infrastructure and Development (Menko IPK) Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) said it was necessary to strengthen human resources (HR) in order to make Indonesia a developed country.
"We all agree that Indonesia will become a developed country if its human resources continue to be prepared and strengthened," AHY said after giving a public lecture at the University of Lampung (Unila), Bandarlampung, Tuesday, was confiscated by Antara.
Moreover, said AHY, Indonesia has a large population with an average young and productive age, so strengthening the quality of human resources through the education, health sector and improving welfare need to be improved.
"Education takes a very fundamental role, both secondary and higher education," he said.

He also hopes that the quality of education will continue to improve, both from its increasingly complete supporting facilities to support the strengthening of human resources towards Indonesia Gold 2045.
"Indonesia is in a strategic position with a large demographic bonus, namely the dominant and productive young population. However, the demographic advantage must be accompanied by the development of quality human resources," he said.
He also reminded that technological advances, especially in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) will continue to change the work structure and demand new skills from the younger generation.
"Therefore, it is indeed important for the current role of the younger generation in responding to global challenges through strengthening culture and future leadership," he said.
He is optimistic that Indonesia has the capacity and great potential to bring this nation forward amidst the uncertainty of the world.
