BRI Insurance And PNM Collaboration Provide Clean Water Sanitation Assistance In Ambon

AMBON - PT BRI Asuransi Indonesia (BRI Insurance) together with PT Permodalan Nasional Madani (PNM) are again collaborating to show social concern through community empowerment programs that focus on environmental and social aspects in the form of assistance for Sanitation of Clean Water in Hutumuri Village, Toisapu Hamlet, Ambon, Friday 26 September.

This activity begins with the construction of drill wells and water reservoirs to support the needs of the community on a daily basis. In addition, BRI Insurance (BRINS) and PNM also provide socialization of Clean and Healthy Life Behavior (PHBS) as well as free health checks for local residents. As a form of additional support, the community also receives sanitation / cleaning packages for use in daily life.

"We hope that this assistance can be utilized as well as possible by the people of Toisapu Hamlet, not only as a temporary solution, but also to encourage the habit of living a clean and healthy life in a sustainable manner. And hopefully this assistance can be directly felt by the people in Hutumuri village," said Sasono Hartanto as PNM's EVP.

BRINS Deputy Branch Manager of BRI Insurance Makassar Branch, Yulianto added, we do this TJSL or CSR program aimed at improving the quality of life of the community and preserving the environment through positive activities, so that it can provide benefits for the community and the surrounding environment for a healthy and sustainable life.

"Hopefully this program can increase public access, especially for the people in Hutumuri Village, Ambon, to clean water that is feasible and sustainable, so that it can improve the quality of life and public health here," he said.

Through an online confirmation, Budi Legowo, the President Director of BRI Insurance, thanked all parties involved.

This program also supports the achievement of SDGs point 3: Good Health and Welfare as well as points 6: Clean Water and Decent Sanitation. This activity is also a clear proof of the synergy between SOEs in improving the quality of life for the community through the provision of sanitation access, health education, and health check services that are easily accessible.
