PPRO Inaugurates Groundbreaking Padel Sports Club, Grand Kamala Lagoon Ready To Become A New Sports Destination And Lifestyle

JAKARTA - PT PP Properti Tbk (PPRO), one of the well-known property developers in Indonesia, reiterated its commitment to presenting healthy, modern, and empowered residential areas through the presence of exclusive padel field facilities at Grand Kamala Lagoon (GKL).

This facility will be developed and managed by INI Pedel, owned by PT Ini Sehat Berolahraga which focuses on developing modern sports facilities. The presence of the padel facility was marked by a symbolic groundbreaking ceremony in the Grand Kamala Lagoon apartment area, Bekasi on Tuesday, September 23.

The event was also attended by the Head of Sports Achievement Improvement Division of Bekasi City Dispora Rika Susana, South Bekasi Sub-district Head Karya Sukmajaya, President Commissioner of PT Ini Sehat Berolahraga Dannish, President Director of PT Ini Sehat Berolahraga Ruben Kristianto, Director of PPRO, and General Manager of GKL.

Padel, a racket sport that is becoming a global trend, was chosen because it is able to combine elements of health, entertainment, and social interaction. With easy-to-studied game characteristics making the pattern inclusive for all age groups, as well as a new magnet for the residents of GKL and the surrounding community. On this occasion, PPRO acts as a host who provides strategic areas, ensuring the presence of sports facilities is in line with the vision of building a dynamic community ecosystem, being oriented in a modern lifestyle, and providing added value to the region.

The padel field complex at GKL is designed with six international standard semi-indoor premium fields, equipped with modern restaurants/cafes, dressing rooms, lockers, and toilets, as well as sports outlets that provide sports equipment. The design carries a modern and visitor-friendly concept, so it is hoped that it can become a new sports destination as well as a lifestyle in Bekasi.

Tenant padel ini rencananya akan mulai beroperasi pada Januari 2026 dan terbuka bagi penghuni GKL maupun masyarakat umum. Kehadiran fasilitas ini juga menjadi bagian dari upaya PPRO dalam menjawab tren olahraga kekinian untuk meningkatkan keadaran masyarakat untuk membangun gaya hidup sehat melalui aktivitas fisik yang menyenangkan.

As a mixed-used 29-hectare project with the concept of The First CBD with Floating City Concept, Grand Kamala Lagoon continues to strengthen its poisisis as a leading residential and recreational destination.
