Wamenaker Noel Netted OTT, Ministry Of Manpower Still Waiting For Development From KPK
The Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) said it was still waiting for further developments following a hand arrest operation (OTT) against Deputy Minister of Manpower (Wamenaker) Immanuel Ebenezer Gerungan (Noel).
"We have not been able to provide information, because we are currently monitoring and waiting for developments from the KPK," said Head of the Public Relations Bureau of the Sunar Ministry of Manampiar Sinaga to ANTARA in Jakarta, Thursday, as reported by Antara.
Previously, the KPK OTT news against Wamenaker was confirmed by the Deputy Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Fitroh Rochahhyanto, today.
He said the OTT was related to the alleged extortion, and there were 10 other people who were arrested along with Wamenaker.
The KPK has 1 x 24 hours to determine the status of the parties who have been arrested.
Furthermore, he said the KPK confiscated dozens of two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles from OTT against Wamenaker Noel.
"There are dozens of cars, and there is a Ducati motorbike," said Fitroh when confirmed in Jakarta.
In addition, Fitroh said that some cash was also confiscated at the OTT related to the alleged extortion in the management of the work safety and health certification (K3).
