The Vibration Of The M 4.9 Earthquake In Bekasi Regency Was Felt In Bogor, Depok To Jakarta

JAKARTA - An earthquake with a magnitude (M) of 4.9 occurred in Bekasi Regency at 19.54 WIB, Wednesday, August 20.

Earthquake tremors were felt up to Bogor Regency, Depok to Jakarta.

In Bogor Regency, the shock of the earthquake made a resident feel like ayun.

"I feel like I was rocked by ayun," said Mulyanto, a resident of Pabuaran Village, Cibinong District, Bogor Regency, Wednesday, August 20.

Meanwhile in Depok, the earthquake, which has a depth of 10 kilometers, made the house lights sway. A number of people also panicked and rushed outside the house.

"I was immediately surprised to go outside the house after seeing the lights in the sky shaking," said Esti, a resident of Pancoran Mas, Depok City.

Meanwhile in Jakarta, the shock of this earthquake was also felt in the Tanah Abang area.
