IWIP Commemorates The 80th Anniversary Of The Republic Of Indonesia, Strengthens The Spirit Of Unity In Weda Bay Industrial Estate
JAKARTA - The spirit of unity colored the commemoration of the 80th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia in the Indonesian Industrial Bay Park (IWIP) Industrial Estate. Hundreds of IWIP employees, both from Indonesia and abroad, participated in enlivening the series of competitions as well as attending the Red and White flag-raising ceremony which was held in the Weda Bay industrial area.
IWIP interprets this momentum of independence as an opportunity to strengthen togetherness and foster solidarity in the work environment. The value of mutual respect, mutual cooperation, and pride in the country, continues to be instilled as part of an inclusive corporate culture.
General Manager of Human Resource Department (HRD) IWIP, Rosalina Sangadji, said that the excitement of the celebration of Indonesian independence at IWIP reflects the spirit of unity and togetherness within the company.
"We are very proud to be able to celebrate the 80th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia in a special way. The participation of all employees is proof that the spirit of unity really lives in this industrial area," he said in a written statement, Tuesday, August 19.
The series of RI Anniversary activities are routinely held every year and not only are Indonesian employees from various departments, but are also always enlivened by the active participation of foreign employees such as employees from China and Europe.
The series of activities began with the IWIP Fun Games 2025 on August 8' 15, 2025, which featured eight categories of competitions, ranging from football relays, sack racing, ping pong relays, marble racing, crossing rivers, worm racing, giant volleyball, to creation gymnastics. Cheerful cheers and cheerful laughter accompanied the competition, creating a warm atmosphere of togetherness while strengthening the bonds between employees.

The peak of the commemoration of the Republic of Indonesia's Independence Day was held on August 17, 2025, through a ceremony to raise the Red and White flag which took place solemnly.
