Realme GT 8 Will Have 6.6 Inci Screen And 7,000mAh Battery

JAKARTA - Realme has confirmed that the Realme GT 8 series will be announced in China in October. The series will cover two devices, namely Realme GT 8 and GT 8 Pro.

So far, the leaks circulating focus more on the Pro edition, but now a new leak that appears on Weibo reveals that Realme GT 8 will be a smaller device than the Pro edition. This leak reveals screen details and battery capacity for the standard model.

Realme GT 8 Screen And Battery Revealed

Leaks had previously mentioned that the Realme GT 8 Pro will feature a 6.85-inch 2K OLED panel. As for the standard model, the latest leak suggests that it will be a smaller device, with a 6.6-inch flat-designed screen.

Despite having a relatively smaller screen, the new leak shows that Realme GT 8 is likely to pack a battery with a capacity of around 7,000mAh. The leaker did not reveal any other details about this device. Rumors circulated that both GT 8 and GT 8 Pro will be powered by the next generation Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset.

The GT 8 series is also expected to come with an increase in design compared to the previous generation. One of the main features of the GT 8 duo is that both will run the latest generation Realme UI 7 based on Android 16.

According to reports, the Realme GT 8 Pro rear camera setup is expected to feature a periscopeal 200-megapixel telephoto camera. This device is also said to be equipped with an upgraded vibrational motor, dual speakers, metal-medium frame, and an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor under the screen.
