The Case Of A Sexual Predator From Jepara Is Handled By The Semarang Kejari
JAKARTA - The police transferred the case files for cases of sexual crimes against dozens of minors in Jepara Regency with suspect S to the Semarang City District Attorney (Kejari).
Head of the General Crimes Section of the Semarang City Kejari, Sarwanto, said that although the suspect lives in Jepara, the case will be tried in the capital city of Central Java.
"The reason for the delegation of cases to the Semarang City Prosecutor's Office is because most of the witnesses and victims came from this city," he said in Semarang, Thursday, July 24, which was confiscated by Antara.
The suspect, he continued, was detained in Semarang Prison before the case was transferred to court.
Sarwanto explained that sex predators from Jepara Regency tricked around 31 victims, all of whom were minors.

The defendant's actions, he continued, took place from August 2024 to March 2025.
In the action, he said, the perpetrator acted by using four Telegram accounts to seduce the victim.
"The perpetrator claimed to be a high school student when he became acquainted with the victims," he said.
The suspect, he continued, also tricked the victim to make videos and nude photos which were then used to threaten.
For his actions, the suspect was charged with Law Number 44 of 2008 concerning pornography or Law Number 35 of 2014 concerning child protection or Law Number 1 of 2024 concerning ITE.
