Investigate Cause Of Death Of Foreign Ministry Diplomat, Police Examine 4 Witness Clusters

JAKARTA - The death of the Deputy Expert Diplomat of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Kemenlu) Ary Daru Pangayunan is still a question mark on the narrative until now, especially regarding the cause of death. In order to reveal the case, the police have examined four witness clusters.

Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi said the four witness clusters ranged from the boarding house environment to those who communicated with Ary Daru Pangayunan before being found dead.

"From the boarding house environment, then from the victim's workplace, then from the victim's family, then from the party who last communicated with the victim," Ade told reporters, Thursday, June 24.

However, it was not conveyed about the results of the series of examinations of the four witness clusters.

So far, Ade only said that the total witnesses from all clusters who were taken information in an effort to reveal the cause of Ary Daru Pangayunan's death reached 15 people.

"The investigative team has clarified the taking of information in the investigation that there are at least 15 people," he said.

Apart from the witness examination process, Ade also emphasized that in an effort to uncover the mystery of the death of the Foreign Ministry Diplomat, there were no obstacles faced.

The seemingly slow process is because it is still waiting for the results of the forensic laboratory examination (labfor) and others. Because, in the disclosure of a case, scientific crime investigation must be prioritized.

"Until now, the investigative team has found no obstacles," said Ade.

Arya Daru Pangayunan was found dead in the 'Gues House Gondia' in the 105th room, Jalan Gondangdia Kecil, No 22, Cikini Village, Menteng District, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, July 8.

When found, the body of Arya Daru Pangayunan was in a condition of his face wrapped in yellow duct tape. Currently, the cause of death is not yet known.
