Police Turn Around 530 Vehicles At 2021 Homecoming Blockage Point At West Cikarang Toll Gate
JAKARTA - The police turned back at least 530 vehicles at the West Cikarang Toll Gate (GT) in order to support government programs related to the homecoming ban on Lebaran 2021.
Quoted from the official Twitter account of TMC Metro Jaya Police, Thursday night, it was stated that the number of vehicles was distorted by the police from the results of the blockage of Ketupat Jaya Operation 2021.
In addition, the Director of Traffic of Metro Jaya Police, Grand Commissioner Pol. Sambodo Purnomo Yogo, S.I.K. was also conveyed that they were carrying out the monitoring of the blockage in the framework of the government policy for the 2021 Homecoming ban.
Previously, the Metro Jaya Police made sure that no travelers could escape the 2021 Ketupat Jaya Operations homecoming blocking which was held in accordance with the government's homecoming ban policy.
"The officers learn from the experience of the previous year. We are evaluating, we close which paths of rats that leaked, which places, the modus operandi, which we use, we already know," said Head of Public Relations of Metro Jaya Police, Grand Commissioner Pol. Yusri Yunus.

The police have also been aware of the various modes used by individuals who intend to circumvent the government's ban on homecoming.
"There are various modes as long as they are on land. Some cars are loaded up to the crane car, some trucks are changed but the contents are human," he added.
The Traffic Directorate of Metro Jaya Police today recorded that 1,070 vehicles had been reversed on the first day of Ketupat Jaya Operation 2021.
Yusri explained that 1,070 vehicles consisted of 895 private vehicles and 175 public vehicles. With details for Cikupa Toll Gate, there are 626 units, consisting of 519 private vehicles and 77 public vehicles, while the West Cikarang Toll Gate has 444 vehicles (346 private vehicles and 98 public vehicles).
