This Anker Beer Producer Whose Shares Are Owned By DKI Jakarta Provincial Government Receives IDR 175 Billion Revenue In 2021's First Quarter

JAKARTA - An alcoholic beverage producer, PT Delta Jakarta Tbk, recorded performance growth throughout the first quarter of 2021. Net profit of this issuer coded DLTA shares jumped 33.59 percent year on year (YoY).

As quoted from Delta Djakarta's financial report, Monday, May 3, the Anker Beer producer revenue amounted to IDR 175.18 billion in the first quarter of 2021. The realization increased 14.45 percent compared to the same period in the previous year amounting to IDR 153.05 billion.

Along with the increase in revenue, the cost of goods sold rose to IDR 53.61 billion from the first quarter of 2020 amounting to IDR 47.08 billion. The gross profit of the company, which 26.25 percent of whose shares are owned by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, amounted to IDR 121.57 billion or grew by 14.72 percent annually.

DLTA selling expenses in the first quarter of 2021 decreased to IDR 39.53 billion from the previous year amounting to IDR 40.75 billion. Meanwhile, general and administrative expenses were recorded to have increased to IDR 19.94 billion from the first quarter of 2020 amounting to IDR 17.64 billion.

DLTA also recorded a decrease in interest income to IDR 5.8 billion compared to the same period last year of IDR 10.38 billion. Even so, the company also managed to record other profits of IDR 4 billion compared to last year which recorded other losses of IDR 3.87 billion.

As a result, Delta Djakarta was able to record a net profit of IDR 56.67 billion. This achievement grew 33.59 percent compared to the first quarter of 2020 amounting to IDR 42.42 billion.

Until March 2021, DLTA's total assets were recorded at IDR 1.33 trillion or an increase from December 2020 of IDR 1.22 trillion. The company's cash and cash equivalents also increased to IDR 816.32 billion from December 2020's IDR 697.22 billion.

The total liabilities and equity of DLTA were recorded at IDR 258.04 billion and IDR 1.07 trillion, respectively.
