Vietnam Will Host The 2025 ASEAN Women's MSIG Serenity Cup

JAKARTA - ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) officially announced that Vietnam will host the 2025 ASEAN Women's MSIG Serenity CupTM tournament. The most prestigious women's soccer championship in Southeast Asia will be held in two major cities, Viet Tri and Hai Phong, on August 6-19, 2025.

The group stage match with a round-robin system from eight participating teams will take place at the Viet Tri Stadium and the Lach Tray Stadium. The Viet Tri Stadium, which is also the location of the Vietnam national team home match at the 2024 ASEAN Championships, will host the semifinals, for third place, to the final.

MSIG is a leading general insurance company in ASEAN based on total gross premiums, with networks in 48 countries. In Indonesia, MSIG comes through two entities: MSIG Indonesia for general insurance, and MSIG Life for life insurance.

This year, MSIG, recorded History as the first title partner of the ASEAN Women's Football Championships, which now carries the name ASEAN Women's MSIG Serenity CupTM. The 13th edition of this tournament will present the women's national team from eight AFF member countries, namely the defending champions of the Philippines, the holder of Thailand's four-time record, and the three-time Vietnam champions, who will compete for the Southeast Asian title.

The eight teams will be divided into two groups through an official draw scheduled for June 9, 2025. The top two teams of each group will advance to the semifinals, and the winner will meet in the final match.

Major General Khiev Sameth, AFF President, stated that the ASEAN Women's MSIG Serenity CupTM 2025 is an important milestone in a joint trip to lift women's soccer achievements in Southeast Asia.

ASEAN women's national team achievements in the international arena continue to show improvement, with Thailand appearing in the FIFA Women's World Cup in 2015 and 2019, as well as the Philippines and Vietnam participating in 2023.
