Smart Choices Of Today's Parents To Support Child Development

JAKARTA - The world of parenting continues to grow, and today's parents are required to be more careful in choosing what is best for their children. Not only about education and health, but also about relevant lifestyles and supporting children's development holistically.

Responding to these needs, the 2025 ParenTale family festival is here as an inspirational destination that presents education, innovation, and emotional experiences in one place.

Held on 2'4 May 2025 at ICE BSD Hall 5, Tangerang, ParenTale 2025 is the result of a collaboration between International Creative Events (ICE Events) and Parentstory.

This event carries the theme 'Embracing the Diversity of Parenting Journey' and is designed as an inclusive space for parents, prospective parents, and the paring community throughout Jabodetabek.

"Why are we actually holding this kind of event, because our role here is to clarify what brands are, because there are always new innovations," said Ayunda Wardhani, CEO of Parentstory and Bridestory when met at ICE BSD, Tangerang on Friday, May 2.

He explained that ParenTale is not just an exhibition, but a stage for innovation and renewal in the world of parenting.

"Innovation from brand friends, stage, education. So actually we want this event, every mother is always updated by innovations from the world of children's education and brands," he said.

Ayunda's experience as a parent is a strong reason behind the birth of ParenTale.

"Moreover, every year there is something new. So actually this is a place for parents. So happy because it's like having a school, actually from our experience as parents come to events like this and we want to continue learning, continue to be parents," he explained.

Interestingly, ParenTale is also an event that focuses on the strength of local products.

"There are many local productions here. Instead, we make this want to support the development of local brands themselves," said Ayunda.

As a platform close to millennial parents and Gen Z, Ayunda added, "We want to present experiences that are not only educationally useful, but also fun and relevant."

Responding to the current economic situation, Edwina Tirta, Partnership and Event Creation Director of ICE Events, said that family needs remain a priority.

"If we look at macro conditions, he said it's not okay anymore. It's just that if you become a parent, it seems like an education, and the needs of the child are still going on," said Edwina.

According to Edwina, ParenTale is a practical solution for parents.

"So we want to see this event really become a forum. Previously, parents didn't have to come, one by one, they looked for their vendors or tenants. But with one coming to ParenTale, the term is that he can get several references that can be a solution for the development of our children. Starting from education, passion, and lifestyle," he said.

More than just a festival, ParenTale is a reflection of how parenting is now more open, emotional, and personal.

"ParenTale is a real representation of how the world of parenting continues to develop and is increasingly inclusive. We designed this event with a personal and emotional approach, because each family has unique stories and needs that deserve to be celebrated." said Edwina.

During the event, visitors can enjoy various product demonstrations, meal showcases for inspirational healthy menus, as well as effective and easy-to-use sharing sessions of parenting tips at home. There are also interactive talk shows with experts such as psychologists, nutritionists, and public figures such as Janelle & Mom, Kenkulus, Alfi Siregar, Bunga Ayu, to dr. Kristina Joy, BMedSc, SpGK.

With more than 150 booths presenting products ranging from educational toys, children's fashion, nutritious food, to family health solutions, ParenTale 2025 is a place to come once, many solutions. This event is free and open to the public.

This event not only prioritizes educational aspects, but also provides interactive playground areas resulting from collaboration with XCocoland, designed specifically to support children's creativity and exploration. Support facilities such as Northern Room, stroller parking, and Jastiper lounge are provided for the convenience of the whole family.
