West Papua's THT Jangkau Operations Service Through Medical And Private Collaboration
JAKARTA - Ear, Nose and Sacrificial (THT) operations are one of the important procedures in the medical world that continues to develop thanks to the support of modern technology.
In areas with limited health facilities such as West Papua, the implementation of the THT operation is not only a form of health services, but also a means of increasing the capacity of local medical personnel through collaboration from various parties.
PT Advance Medicare Corpora again plays an active role in supporting the strengthening of national health services through its participation in social service activities held by PERHATI-KL (Communication of Nose Ear Specialists In Slitting Indonesian Neck Surgery) in the South Sulawesi, West Sulawesi, Maluku, and Papua regions.
This event was held from April 30 to May 2, 2025 at two main hospitals in West Papua, namely Sele Be Solu Hospital, Sorong City and JP Wanane Hospital, Sorong Regency.
In this activity, the company provided support in the form of advanced medical devices such as Camera System Image 1S, Otology sets, and FESS THT equipment produced by KARL STORRZ.
This technology not only accelerates and perfects the implementation of the THT operation, but is also a means of direct training for local medical personnel to improve their skills and readiness to deal with regional cases.
"We are honored to be able to contribute to activities that have a direct impact on the community," said Mesya Mandawi, General Manager of PT Advance Medicare Corpora in a statement.
He added that equitable distribution of medical technology is one of the important keys in presenting a fair and equitable health system, especially in eastern Indonesia, which still requires a lot of attention.
