Collaboration Network, Dubai Offers AI Training Program For Indonesian Human Resources
JAKARTA - The Indonesian government continues to accelerate the strengthening of human resources (HR) in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) through strategic cooperation with the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
In a meeting with delegates from the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs, Dubai Future Labs representative Saeed Al Falasi explained a number of AI training initiatives that have been successfully implemented in the United Arab Emirates including the One Million Propters and Global Prompt Engineering Championship programs.
One of the focuses of discussion is the opportunity for wider participation of the Indonesian people in the AI training program initiated by DCAI.
The One Million Prompters program, which is open to the global public online, offers short (3-4 hours) training with certification for those who pass. Currently, around 30 Indonesian participants have participated in this program.
Meanwhile, the Global Prompt Engineering Championship, the world's largest promotion engineering competition which includes art, coding, and literacy, is also a forum for Indonesia's digital talents to compete at the international level.
"This is a concrete step to strengthen bilateral collaboration, especially in the development of digital human resources and AI technology," said Minister of Home Affairs Meutya Hafid in her official broadcast.
In addition, this meeting also discussed the possibility of adapting Dubai-style AI training models to government institutions in Indonesia, through structured promotion engineering training.
According to him, Dubai started by training 200 people from various government agencies as a core team. They then identify public service problems and use AI to find solutions.
"As a result, several cases such as campaigns for awareness of fire hazards during the celebration of Hinduism were successfully optimized with AI," said Al Falasi.
