Apple Watch Series 11 Predicted To Attend 2025 Fall
JAKARTA - The Apple Watch Series 11 is expected to be released simultaneously with the iPhone 17 in the fall of 2025, following Apple's annual pattern in introducing its new generation of devices. However, despite high enthusiasm, recent reports suggest that this latest Apple Watch design will likely not change much compared to its predecessor, Series 10.
According to a report from Bloomberg in January, the Apple Watch Series 11 will retain the same external design as Series 10. Apple is known to have used the same design for generations before introducing major changes.
Although rumors circulated about Apple Watch with a full glass body, this is considered impossible to materialize in the near future.
The Apple Watch Series 11 screen is most likely to stick to flexible OLED technology like the previous generation. Although Apple has long developed a microLED screen, reports say the technology may only be implemented in 2026, with premium models like Apple Watch Ultra adopting it first.
Small changes may occur in the backplane technology section, where Series 10 already uses LTPO3, which is more power efficient. This technology allows the appearance of always-on with efficient power consumption.
For health features, Series 11 is not expected to bring a big leap. However, it is likely to include a high blood pressure detection feature, even if it is only a warning of extreme conditions, not daily monitoring.
The blood oxygen gauge feature could also come back if Apple wins a lawsuit over patents with Masimo, as the feature is currently not available in the US.
Blood glucose sensors without punctures are still in development, but Apple is reportedly testing software that can help users manage their sugar levels manually.

The Apple Watch Series 11 is expected to carry a new S11 SiP chip. Although there has been no leak regarding the significant increase in performance, this chip is likely to be more efficient.
There is also the possibility that Apple will add its own C1 modem, which although it does not support mmWave, remains suitable for smartwatches because of its power efficiency. Satellite-based connectivity features are also said to be present, although it is more likely to appear on the Apple Watch Ultra 3 first.
Apple Watch Series 11 will run watchOS 12, which is rumored to be adopting a new look with semi-transparent visual elements like visionOS. This change in appearance is said to be in the development stage.
While it does not fully support Apple Intelligence due to limited processing on devices, this watch may get derivative features such as a summary of notifications and a new version of Siri connected to the iPhone.
The Apple Watch Series 11 doesn't seem to be bringing big breakthroughs in terms of design or features, but it will still improve what was already there. Apple's focus for this year is likely to be more on optimizing smarter devices and health features, with the support of new, more efficient operating systems and chips.
