President Prabowo's Optimism: Print 8 Million Jobs In The Next 5 Years

BATANG - President Prabowo Subianto is optimistic that the government can print eight million new jobs in the next five years thanks to various investments in downstream projects and development.

Therefore, the President believes that the future of the Indonesian nation will be bright and brilliant in the future.

"The investments that we will carry out starting this year are downstream so that the added value of all of our raw materials can be enjoyed by all Indonesian people, as well as the jobs that we calculate, employment in the next five years will reach eight million jobs," said President Prabowo when inaugurating the Special Industrial Zone (KEK) Industropolis Batang in Batang Regency, Central Java, Antara, Thursday, March 20.

On that occasion, the President emphasized that he would continue to develop the country despite the efforts of certain parties to reduce the spirit and hopes of young people, the next generation of the nation.

"Our future is brilliant and bright, although there are a few efforts from nowhere to always reduce the spirit and future, the enthusiasm and hopes of our young people. I emphasize here, it is not true and we will continue to move forward. Let the dogs scream, we will continue. We will build a glorious future, "said the President.

President Prabowo inaugurated the Industropolis Batang SEZ on Thursday morning accompanied by a number of ministers of the Red and White Cabinet, including the Coordinating Minister for Regional Infrastructure and Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono and the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia.

SEZ Industropolis Batang is a transformation of the Batang Integrated Industrial Zone (KITB).

During the inauguration ceremony, the President said the government was building dozens of other special economic zones as part of efforts to catch up with neighboring countries.

"We are optimistic and this is one of the dozens of SEZ plans that we will build later, maybe ideally one SEZ in each province. So, in the end we have to have 38 SEZs that we want to go that way," said President Prabowo when met by reporters after the inauguration ceremony.

The President added that the Industropolis Batang SEZ can be an example because it has good development planning.

The President welcomed many large companies that have entered the Industropolis Batang SEZ, namely seven companies that have been operating, then seven other companies are in the construction stage, and 13 companies are entering the development planning stage.
