Tax Incentives Translucent To IDR 14.9 Trillion Throughout The First Quarter Of 2021

JAKARTA - The government, through the Ministry of Finance, said that the tax incentives in the first quarter of 2021 had reached IDR 14.95 trillion, with the number of taxpayers (WP) who utilized it as many as 286.000 taxpayers.

In detail, several tax incentives such as Income Tax Article 21 amounting to IDR 615 billion have been utilized by 88.253 workers.

Then, the Income tax (PPh) Article 22 import incentives of IDR 2.53 trillion have been utilized by 14.877 taxpayers, IDR 7.14 trillion PPh Article 25 incentives that have been enjoyed by 63.530 taxpayers, and IDR 1.12 trillion VAT incentives that have been enjoyed and returned for 367 taxpayers.

Meanwhile, the amount of corporate income tax incentives that have been utilized by all corporate taxpayers is IDR 3.42 trillion.

"The data shows that the corporate income tax rate reduction incentives are generally applicable, which can be utilized by all corporate taxpayers", said Finance Minister (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani in the Press Conference of our State Budget last week.

Furthermore, the incentive for Final Income Tax which has been utilized by 248.275 Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) is IDR 122 billion.

During the past 2020, tax incentives have been utilized by 464.316 taxpayers with a temporary realized value of IDR 56.12 trillion

"Well, the number of taxpayers who took advantage of this accelerated restitution has also increased by 9.901 and in terms of audit results it has also decreased, but the number of beneficiaries (accelerated restitution) is increasing from 2020 from 9.153 to 9.901", said the Minister.

Meanwhile, for the posture of the 2021 State Budget (APBN), the government is targeting this year's revenue to reach IDR 1.743 trillion. This figure is targeted to be supported by tax revenue of IDR 1.229 trillion, customs and excise of IDR 2.215 trillion.

Then, Non-Tax State Revenues (PNBP) of IDR 298 trillion, as well as grants of IDR 900 billion.

For information, until March 2021, the realization of state revenue was recorded at IDR 378.8 trillion, or around 21.7 percent of the ceiling set this year.
