Alamtri Resources Holds Iftar With 1,000 Orphans
JAKARTA - PT Alamtri Resources Indonesia Tbk. (AlamTri) or ADRO held a iftar with 1,000 orphans as a form of sharing blessings in the holy month of Ramadan on Friday, March 14.
The activity with the theme "Together in blessings, Sharing in Happiness" was held at the At-Thohir Mosque, Tapos Village, Depok City, West Java. A total of 1,000 orphans came from 20 orphanages spread from Jakarta, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi.
The event was attended by the President Director of PT Alamtri Resources Indonesia Tbk. (AlamTri) Garibaldi Thohir, Commissioner of AlamTri Arini Saraswaty Subianto, Ustadz Das'ad Latif, and Director of AlamTri Mohammad Syah Indra Aman.
Garibaldi said that breaking the fast is an annual routine activity since 2011 to provide moments of happiness for orphans and strengthen friendship and gratitude by sharing goodness in the holy month of Ramadan.
"For me this is something extraordinary. Seeing them can be happy for me very, very touching," he said, Saturday, March 15.
This event is filled with tausiah, compensation for orphans, and is equipped with a food festival concept.
The location of the event at the At-Thohir Mosque, which stands in the middle of the Podomoro view area with a modern classic design built in 2016 by the President Director of AlamTri Garibaldi Thohir along with his two brothers as a form of dedication to his late father, H Mochamad Thohir.

On this occasion, the man who is familiarly called Boy Thohir remembers his father, Mochammad Thohir, who has been an orphan since he was 11 years old and an immigrant from Lampung. Mochammad Thohir is a migrant from Lampung.
"Alhamdulillah, now the mosque is crowded because the function of the mosque is not only for worship, but for the prosperity of the people," he explained
