Bank DKI Supports QRIS Innovation Tap NFC Bank Indonesia Through JakOne Mobile
JAKARTA - Bank DKI continues to be committed to supporting the Bank Indonesia (BI) program in line with the launch of QRIS Tap NFC by Bank Indonesia which was carried out in Jakarta on Friday, March 14, which was also implemented in the QRIS payment feature on the JakOne Mobile Bank DKI application.
The launch event was also attended by the Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development of the Republic of Indonesia, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, the Minister of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia, Dudy Purwagandhi, the Governor of Bank Indonesia, Perry Warjiyo, the Chair of the Indonesian Payment System Association (ASPI), Adiwan Fahlan Ari calm, and the President Director of Bank DKI, Agus H. Widodo. In addition, representatives from various financial institutions, transportation, and public services were also present, such as MRT Jakarta, KCI, Jakarta LRT, Jabodebek LRT, TransJakarta, and Perum Damri.
This innovation allows users to make non-cash transactions more quickly and easily by simply attaching mobile devices to payment machines that support the NFC feature. As an initial stage, QRIS Tap NFC is implemented in pilot projects in the transportation and public services sector.
President Director of Bank DKI, Agus H. Widodo, said that the implementation of QRIS Tap NFC in JakOne Mobile is part of Bank DKI's digital transformation to support a more efficient and inclusive payment ecosystem in Jakarta.
"As part of the synergy with Bank Indonesia's policy, Bank DKI continues to innovate in providing digital banking services that make it easier for the public, especially in supporting the public transportation sector. Now public transportation users in Jakarta can use the QRIS Tap NFC on the JakOne Mobile Bank DKI application as the main choice of non-cash payments on various modes of transportation such as MRT and Transjakarta," he said, in a written statement.
Agus further said that the application of this technology is in line with the digitalization efforts made by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government in supporting the smart city concept, where people can feel the convenience of making faster, safer, and integrated financial transactions in one application.

Previously, Bank DKI had launched various initiatives in order to expand access to digital payments, especially in the transportation sector, including the Jakarta Tourist Pass, which is based on JakCard electronic cards and the JakOne Pay application, which allows tourists to enjoy tourism services in Jakarta in a practical and integrated manner.
In addition, Bank DKI is also active in supporting the development of public transportation ecosystems through synergies between DKI Jakarta BUMDs, namely cooperation in the Naming Rights of the HI Bank DKI Bundaran MRT Station and the Transjakarta Bus Stop Naming Rights Senayan Bank DKI. This step not only strengthens Bank DKI branding as a strategic partner for public transportation in Jakarta, but also provides benefits for users of transportation services by expanding the digital payment ecosystem.
Bank DKI Corporate Secretary, Arie Rinaldi added, by presenting the QRIS Tap NFC in the JakOne Mobile application, Bank DKI is optimistic that it can continue to contribute to improving the efficiency of the national payment system and supporting Bank Indonesia's efforts to encourage digitalization of payments.
