Referee Adham Makhadmeh Leads Australian Vs Indonesia Match In Sydney
JAKARTA - The Indonesian national team's away match to Australian headquarters in the 2026 World Cup Qualification will be led by referee Adham Makhadmeh. The judge will lead the match at the Sydney Football Stadium on Thursday, March 20, 2025.
The news that Makhadmeh will lead the match is known from information spread by Jordanian media, Alghad. The referee's assignment was based on direct directions from the Asian Football Federation (AFC).
The referee who was born on February 13, 1987, received three international tasks in the March 2025 period. He will lead the matches of the Saudi Arabian Pro League, the Asian Champions League, and the 2026 Asian Zone World Cup Qualifiers.
"The Adham Makhadmeh, Mohammad Bakar, Ahmad Al-Ruwaileh, and Ahmad Faisal left yesterday for Saudi Arabia to lead the match between Al Hilal (Saudi Arabia) and Pakktakor (Uzbekistan) in the Asian Elite Champions League," Alghad wrote as quoted on Thursday, March 13, 2025.

Makhadmeh is believed to lead an international-class match because of his qualified license. He is known to have had FIFA licensed referee status since 2013.
Based on Transfermarkt data, Makhadmeh has also led four 2024/2025 Liga 1 matches. The four matches, namely Semen Padang vs Borneo FC, Barito Putera vs Madura United, PSS Sleman vs Persik Kediri, and Persib Bandung vs Arema FC.
In addition, Makhadmeh had been the judge when the Garuda Squad against Saudi Arabia with a score of 1-1 in the Group C phase. The match took place in Jeddah on September 5, 2024.
