5 Things Women Haid Can Do In The Month Of Ramadan To Add Pahala

JAKARTA - The month of Ramadan has always been a moment that Muslims from various circles, including children, teenagers, adults, and parents have been waiting for. Everyone greeted him with joy.

In this blessed month, Muslims try to increase their worship such as fasting, praying, performing tarawih prayers, and sharing with others. However, for women who are menstruating, there are some special provisions in worship. They are not required to pray and are prohibited from touching copies of the Koran directly.

So, how can a woman still worship during menstruation? Haid or menstruation is a natural process experienced by almost all women. This is a form of bleeding that comes from the uterine wall and usually lasts for 5 to 7 days, with cycles ranging from 28 to 35 days.

In the Koran, menstruation is referred to as an adza, which means something that can cause pain, but is not a disease. Even though you cannot perform certain worships, there are some practices that can still be done by women while menstruating. Check out what activities women can do during menstruation during Ramadan.

Based on information from MUI, NU online, and various other sources, there are a number of practices that can be done by women during menstruation. Even though they are not in a holy state, they still have the opportunity to do good and achieve blessings in the month of Ramadan.

Women who are menstruating can still carry out various worships that do not require adultery, so they can still get closer to Allah SWT with the recommended practice. Here are the practices:

1. Increase dhikr and sholawat

Women who are menstruating are still allowed to remember and pray. This practice not only brings peace of mind, but also becomes a reward field. Saying thayyibah sentences such as tahmid, tasbih, and takbir can be a substitute for prayer. The Prophet SAW said:

"Betsabih 100 kali maka ditulislah untuknya 1000 kebaikan atau dihapus dari 1000 kesalahan." (HR Imam Muslim)

2. Murajaah or repeat the recitation of the Koran

During menstruation, women are prohibited from touching and carrying copies of the Koran. However, this does not prevent them from getting the reward of reading the Koran. For those who have memorized it, gorajaah or repeat memorization can still be done. Another alternative that can be done is to read the translation of the Koran to keep its benefits and blessings.

3. Istiqamah in historyfar

Beristighfar is a practice that can be done at any time, including during menstruation. Apart from being a form of getting closer to Allah SWT, istighfar also has many virtues. The Prophet SAW said:

Let's talk about it, let's talk about it, let's talk about it. Let's take care of it. Let's take care of it, let's take care of it, let's take care of it.

"Whoever istiqamah reads istighfar, then Allah will give her a way out of every difficulty, Allah will give her happiness from every difficulty, and Allah will give her sustenance from an unexpected path." (HR Imam Abu Dawud)

4. Maintain personal hygiene

Some women still have the wrong opinion that during menstruation they do not need to maintain cleanliness, such as being reluctant to comb through hair or cut nails because they are considered not allowed.

In fact, Islam really recommends cleanliness in all conditions. In a hadith, Aisyah RA said that when she had menstruation during a pilgrimage with the Prophet Muhammad, she said:

You can't help it, you can't help it, you can't help it, you can't help it, you can't help it, you can't help it, you can't.

"Let go of your Umrah, let go of your bond and make fun of it..."

(HR Bukhari 317 & Muslim 1211)

5. Multiplier reads of prayer

One of the practices that women can do during menstruation is to increase their prayers. Prayer is a form of worship that is not limited by time and condition, so it can still be practiced at any time, including for women who are menstruating.

One of the prayers that is recommended to continue to be read is a prayer narrated by Aisyah RA in order to welcome Lailatul Qadar's night. In the book Musnad Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal, it is stated that Aisyah RA once asked the Prophet Muhammad SAW about prayers that should be offered when meeting Lailatul Qadar's night. Then, the Prophet SAW gave an answer regarding the recommended prayer to read that night, namely:

Let's take care of it, let's take care of it, let's take care of it. Let's take care of it, let's take care of it.

Meaning: 'O Allah, You are Able to forgive who likes people who ask for forgiveness, therefore forgive me
