Minister Of Energy And Mineral Resources Ensures Availability Of Fuel During Ramadan And Eid 2025

JAKARTA - Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), Bahlil Lahadalia ensured the availability of fuel oil (BBM) supply during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr 1446 Hijri/2025 AD.

"Regarding fuel, Alhamdullilah, until now our reserves have reached a capacity of 17 to 21 days, so there are no problems, both pertalite, pertamax and diesel," said Minister Bahlil during a visit and inspection of the availability of fuel ahead of Eid Al-Fitr 1446 H, in Baubau, quoted by Antara, Monday, March 10.

On that occasion, the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources accompanied by BPH Migas (The Downstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Agency) and from Le Pertamina also checked the quality of differences compared to fuel between RON 90 and RON 92 to ensure the availability of fuel was clearer.

"I have also asked Patra Niaga that at each Public Fuel Filling Station (SPBU) an example is made betweenron 92 andron 90 so that our community can provide education to be able to distinguish which speces areron 90 andron 92," he said.

Minister Bahlil also assured the entire community not to worry about the quality of the fuel being sold. It is explained that RON 90 is oil that is subsidized while RON 92 is the market price, which if oil prices rise, there will be an increase.

"So if Ron 90 prices go up, it will still be at the price set by Pertamina and the government, whileron 92 is the market price, which is another way if oil prices go up, they go up and if they go down," he explained.

Then, said Bahlil, the stock of B40 (a mixture of biodiesel made from vegetable oil) and diesel is quite available until Eid al-Fitr, so there is no need for any issues related to this matter.

In fact, he added, the Fuel Fuel Terminal in Baubau City is a supplier of fuel for the Sulawesi area, including in Maluku and is a supply reserve in Bima, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) and several other areas.

"So this is very vital after I found out, this is a very extraordinary role than the Baubau TBBM," said the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources who is also the General Chair of the Golkar Party DPP.

The Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources arrived in Baubau City in addition to visiting gas stations on Jalan Sultan Hasanuddin, Batulo Village, Baubau City, also inspecting the Oil and Gas Power Plant (PLTMG) and the Fuel Terminal of Baubau Oil Fuel.

During the visit, the Deputy Governor of Southeast Sulawesi, Hugua, Acting President Director of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Mars Ega Legowo, Mayor Baubau Yusran Fahim, Regent of South Buton Muhammad total, Deputy Mayor of Baubau Wa Ode Hamsinah Bolu, Deputy Regent of South Buton La Ode Risawal, Baubau Police Chief AKBP Bungi Masokan Misalayuk and several other officials.
