MUFG, Danamon, Adira Finance, And Home Credit Indonesia Launch Women Mentoring Program
JAKARTA - MUFG Bank, Ltd. (MUFG), PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk (Danamon), PT Adira Dinamika Multi Finance Tbk (Adira Finance), and PT Home Credit Indonesia, collaborated as One Financial Group together with IGNITE to launch the Women Mentorship Program. In commemoration of World Women's Day which will be celebrated on March 8, 2025, this program was launched to empower women's professionals who occupy leadership positions in the corporate world in Indonesia.
Myreshka, Managing Director, Head of Treasury for MUFG Indonesia, explained that the launch of this program reflects MUFG's commitment to creating an organization that is inclusive and diverse, where each individual has a fair and equal opportunity to develop.
"With this commitment, we encourage women to develop careers and achieve strategic leadership positions in all lines of work. On the other hand, the collaboration between MUFG and Danamon, Adira Finance, and Home Credit Indonesia also reinforces our commitment to grow together and strengthen women's communities within the organizational chain," he explained, in a written statement, Saturday, March 8.
Evi Damayanti, Chief Human Capital Danamon, explained that in line with Danamon's commitment to support women's empowerment, we are proud to be part of the Women Mentoring Program.
"We hope that the presence of this program can empower women's professionals and increase women's representation in leadership positions, as well as strengthen collaboration between MUFG, Danamon, Adira Finance, and Home Credit Indonesia to become employees of theice and become one of the Financial Groups with the best experience and expertise in the industry," said Evi.
Swandajani Gunadi, Chief of Human Capital Management & Marketing Officer Adira Finance explained, women's equality is not only a social issue, but also a key strategy in the Sustainability Finance. Adira Finance is committed to opening wider access for women, empowering them in creating an inclusive and resilient work environment.

Ghayatri Shima, Chief Human Resources Officer of Home Credit Indonesia, explained that his party is committed to creating opportunities for all Indonesian people. In the professional world, Home Credit Indonesia believes that gender should not be a barrier to career progress.
"Our commitment to empowering women can be seen from the internal ratio, where 40 percent of directors and 51 percent of our workforce are women. Women Mentorship Program not only symbolizes our efforts to consistently encourage the success of women in the professional world but also shows the value we engage in running a business, including actively providing financial access to more than 2.9 million female customers, because we believe they are the driving force of the family economy," he explained.
The launch of the Women Mentor program was carried out in Jakarta and attended by Kazushige Nakajima, Executive Officer, Country Head of Indonesia MUFG; Dadi Arief Darmawan, Managing Director, Head of HR and Banking Operations for Indonesia MUFG; Myreshka, Managing Director, Head of Treasury for Indonesia MUFG; Hedy Maria Helena Lapian, Independent Commissioner Danamon; D. Ejima, President Director of Danamon; Rita Mirasari, Director of Danamon Compliance; Evi Damayanti, Chief Human Capital Danamon; Swandajani Gunadi, Director of Human Capital & Marketing Adira Finance; Ghayatri Shima, Chief Human Resource Officer of Home Credit Indonesia; and Dolly Susanto, Chief Sales Officer of Home Credit Indonesia.
The joint presence of male and female leaders from the four companies at this event not only highlighted the importance of intergender collaboration, but also became a symbol of Group dedication to create an inclusive work environment.
The collaboration between MUFG, Danamon, Adira Finance, and Indonesia's Home Credit with IGNITE is expected to empower, inspire growth, build meaningful connections, and instill a lifelong learning culture. This event is also part of the Empowered Danamon program Carrying Equality (DAYATARA).

The Women Mentorship Program will last for six months, where selected female employees from MUFG, Danamon, Adira Finance, and Home Credit Indonesia, will each get personal mentors from all four entities, as well as company leaders from various cross-industrial business actors who are members of the IGNITE network. During the implementation of the Women Mentorship Program, selected female employees will have the opportunity to participate in personal mentoring sessions, training, workshops, and networked sessions for their professional development.
For the participants, this program is expected to increase career growth through mentoring, networking, as well as developing leadership skills by prioritizing gender equality and increasing women's representation in leadership positions. They will also be able to gain access to mentors who are experts in various business fields, providing various insights related to business and leadership that will benefit the personal development of each participant.
For MUFG, Danamon, Adira Finance, and Home Credit Indonesia, as One Financial Group, the Women Mentorship Program supports the development of talent availability (talent pipeline), especially for future female leaders of the company.
