Sido Muncul Earns IDR 1.17 Trillion Net Profit In 2024
JAKARTA - The producer of Tolak Angin, PT Industri Jamu and Pharmacy Sido Muncul Tbk (SIDO) posted a steady performance, both in terms of net profit and sales throughout 2024.
Quoted from the disclosure of information on the Indonesia Stock Exchange website, Saturday, March 8, SIDO posted a net profit of IDR 1.17 trillion in 2024, an increase of 23.18 percent year on year (yoy) when compared to 2023 of IDR 950.64 billion.
That way, basic earnings per share were recorded at IDR 39.03 per share, up from IDR 31.69 per share. In terms of the top line, in 2024 SIDO scored sales performance of IDR 3.91 trillion, an increase of 9.9 percent from IDR 3.56 trillion in 2023.
The company's cost of goods sold reached IDR 1.61 trillion, up from the previous IDR 1.54 trillion. Total sales minus the cost of goods sold resulted in a gross profit of IDR 2.3 trillion, an increase from the previous IDR 2 trillion.
If detailed, sales originating from herbal herbs and supplements items were recorded at IDR 2.48 trillion throughout 2024, up from IDR 2.34 trillion.
Then, the food and beverage sales segment increased from IDR 1.1 trillion to IDR 1.3 trillion. The pharmaceutical segment recorded an increase to IDR 127.45 billion, from the previous year reaching IDR 115.68 billion.

SIDO recorded a cash balance and year-end cash equivalent of IDR 855.56 billion in 2024. This figure is up from IDR 830.12 billion in the previous year.
