Anindya Bakrie Reports Kadin Program That Supports President Prabowo's Government Priority
JAKARTA - Chairman (Ketum) of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) Anindya Novyan Bakrie reported the quick win programs of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry that would support the government's priority to President Prabowo Subianto.
He said the programs would be launched next Friday.
"From Kadin there will be an action, next week we will carry out the launch of the quick win of Kadin programs to support the government. So, next Friday. Earlier, we have reported (to the President) hopefully the results will be good," Anindya told reporters at the Presidential Palace Complex, Jakarta, quoted by Antara, Saturday, March 8.
On the same occasion, Anindya emphasized the commitment of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry to support government programs. Anindya and a number of Kadin leaders visited the Palace on Friday to meet the President, and attend a meeting with world veteran investor Ray Dalio.
"From Kadin, I, as the general chairman, came with friends from the business world to think about how we can support the government's program, to support 8 percent growth (target), and also alleviate poverty," said the Head of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
He continued that Kadin also heard several programs from Danantara, which were conveyed by the Chairman of the Implementing Agency (CEO) Danantara Rosan P. Roeslani.
"From Kadin, I want to say that Kadin is the auspices of the business world so that ideal cooperation is needed to reach the regions, because it is not only growth, the President said in terms of welfare, along with that, there is also," continued Anindya.

At the Palace, Friday, the President also invited a number of domestic tycoons to sit down together and hear ideas from Ray Dalio. The tycoons include Andi Syamsuddin Arsyad (Haji Isam), Tomy Winata, Chairul Tanjung, Hashim Djojohadikusumo, James Riady, Prajogo Pangestu, Garibaldi Thohir, Sugianto Kusuma (Aguan), Hilmi Panigoro, Franky Oesman Widjaja, and Anthony Salim.
Then, several ministers of the Red and White Cabinet were also present, including Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia, Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Sakti Wahyu Trenggono, Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati, Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, then Chairman of the National Economic Council (DEN) Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, and there is also Cabinet Secretary Lt. Col. Inf. Teddy Indra Wijaya.
