A Number Of Victims Were Taken To The Hospital After The Hotel In Solo Fired
JAKARTA - A number of victims were rushed to the hospital due to the Grand Hap Hotel fire in Solo, Central Java, Friday, March 7, evening.
Surakarta Police Chief Kombes Pol Catur Cahyono Wibowo said that currently the victim is still being collected, but all of them have been taken to the hospital.
"On being clean from the occupants, they have been taken to the hospital," he said, quoted by Antara.
Based on information in the field, some of the victims were taken to the Slamet Riyadi Hospital in Surakarta and partly at the Kasih Ibu Hospital in Surakarta.
Regarding the fire, he said, the source of the fire came from room 503 on the fifth floor of the hotel on Jalan Slamet Riyadi.
The first report was made by the occupants of the room at around 19.00 WIB that there were sparks. The fire first appeared from under the mattress.
"But we are still investigating, we don't want speculation," he said.

Furthermore, the report was followed up with the Fire Department and related officers immediately carried out the fire extinguishing process.
Meanwhile, the Commander of the Solo Fire Department, Sri Mulyanto, said eight fire engines were deployed to extinguish the fire.
"For the evacuation to run smoothly, the victim is confirmed safe. The condition is okay," he said.
