Jasa Marga Proposes A 30 Percent Toll Rate Discount In The Event Of Traffic Engineering In Lebaran 2025

JAKARTA - President Director of PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk, Subakti Syukur proposed a toll rate discount of at least 30 percent during the Lebaran 2025 homecoming period. However, with a note, if there is traffic engineering taken on the discretion of the police.

Furthermore, Subakti said there was a possibility of traffic diversion on the Trans Java toll road in order to break down the density during the Lebaran homecoming period.

For example, continued Subakti, the transfer from Cikampek Utama to the Cipali Toll Road to Kalihurip Utama through the Cileunyi-Sumedang-Dawuan (Cisumdawu) Toll Road.

"Okay, the discretion is issued (police), we will provide special incentives, namely a discount rate of at least 30 percent," he said at a press conference at the BUMN Ministry Office, Jakarta, Tuesday, March 4.

Subakti also said the proposal would be discussed again with the government, namely the Ministry of Transportation and the Police. The goal is to make efforts to ease the burden on the community.

"I'm talking at least, we'll discuss it with the government later, but it's okay, later we will discuss it with the (Ministry) of Transportation, with the police. But we promise Jasa Marga will ease road users later, it will depend on us discussing with the government," he said.

Previously, it was reported that PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk would provide a tariff discount or a discount of 20 percent from Jakarta to Semarang during the Lebaran 2025 homecoming period. The toll tariff discount is valid for six days.

Jasa Marga President Director Subakti Syukur explained that the toll tariff discount or toll rate discount for the Lebaran homecoming period applies to all groups of vehicles.

This tariff discount will be enforced for six days in two schemes. During homecoming from 24 to 27 March 2025 and 8 to 9 April 2025 on backflow.

"Giving a toll rate discount from Jakarta to Semarang and vice versa on the Trans Java section. The amount of the toll rate discount is 20 percent for all groups of vehicles," said Subakti at a press conference at the Ministry of SOEs Office, Jakarta, Tuesday, March 4.

In addition to discounts, Subakti said, Jasa Marga also conveyed three toll roads that will be opened functionally, aka not effective during the Lebaran 2025 homecoming period.

First, said Subakti, the toll road that will be functionalized is the Solo-Yogyakarta Toll Road for the Klaten-Prambanan segment along 8.5 kilometers (km).

Furthermore, Subakti said that the Solo-Yogyakarta Toll Road in the Klaten-Prambanan segment has actually undergone a good test and can already be effective.

"But we won't tariff it first. So we will functionalize the segment," he explained.

Second, continued Subakti, the Jakarta-Cikampek II South Toll Road will also be functionalized in the Sadang-Bojongmangu segment along 31.25 km.

"However, it will be carried out situationally on the backflow according to the police discretion. Also, we will tell you what the scenario will be," he said.

Finally, continued Subakti, one Probolinggo-Banyuwangi Toll Road for the Gending-Paiton segment is 23.47 km long. This is also free of charge," said Subakti.

In addition, Subakti said the 6.78 km Prambanan-Purwomartani segment will also be accelerated. However, he said this segment had previously been operated functionally during the Christmas and New Year 2025 (Nataru) periods and at that time there was a traffic jam.

"And we will also add it later, we are speeding up, namely the Prambanan-Purwomartani segment, which is 6.78 km. So as you know yesterday, Prambanan Nataru had already at its peak there was a traffic jam. Until this gate we will arrange everything again," he said.
