All England 2025 Schedule
JAKARTA The 2025 All England badminton tournament will take place this month. Indonesian representatives are certain to take part in the event.
The oldest competition in badminton history is scheduled to take place from 11-16 March 2025 at Utilita Arena, Birmingham, England. This is the 115th edition since it started in 1899.
All England is one of the tournaments most awaited by badminton players. This is one of the four tournaments in the BWF tour calendar which is at the Super 1000 level or the highest.
In addition to the highest level, this event also provides a big prize for the contestants. This year, the tournament is fighting for a total prize of US$1.3 million or equivalent to Rp21.3 billion.
The Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI) has previously released Indonesian representatives who will appear there. Initially, the badminton parent confirmed that 10 singles/pairs would participate.

However, in the latest statement, Anthony Sinisuka Ginting's men's singles were confirmed to be absent. He has recovered from the arm injury suffered at the Malaysia Open 2025, but is still not ready to compete.
Ginting's resignation left the men's singles sector, Jonatan Christie and Chico Aura Dwi Wardoyo. Jonathan is the defending champion in the competition.
The 2018 Asian Games gold medalist ended his 30-year Indonesian men's singles title fast in this event after defeating Ginting in the final match.
In the women's singles number, Indonesia also only sent two names, namely the bronze medalist at the 2024 Paris Olympics, Gregoria Mariska Tunjung, with her colleague Putri Kusuma Wardani.
There are also men's doubles pair Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto, Bagas Maulana/Leo Rolly Carnando, and Daniel Marthin/M. Shohibul Fikri.
Fajar/Rian also have the status of defending champion. The former world number one will aim for their third title in this event.
In addition to winning in the 2024 edition, Fajar/Rian also recorded the highest podium climb in the 2023 edition.
Then there are also Apriyani Rahayu/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti and Febriana Dwi Puji Kusuma/Amalia Cahaya Pratiwi.
Apri/Fadia comeback played together again after last playing together at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Indonesia certainly does not field representatives in mixed doubles. This number does not have a representative who meets the requirements to play there.
